When you lose a baby, no matter how that loss took place, suddenly theres a very long and empty road that seems to have no end. I didn’t know where to turn when it came to stillbirth, in fact, I don’t think I even knew where I stood. Was I still a mother? Was Jason a father? Was that it now, we would continue to fall deeper and never come to terms with the fact our baby was now missing from our arms…
I turned to the internet. I was hours away from being induced to kickstart a labour that only nightmares have experienced and I could no longer rely on google. I found nothing that helped, except in the days, weeks and months that followed. Therefore, I have rounded up a list of useful links and contacts to help you navigate your own way through this traumatic story and find solace in sharing in another’s heartbreak. There may be nothing of interest to you here right now, but perhaps one day you might gain some comfort from it.
