It is officially just under 6 months that I will become a wife and how excited am I? Incredibly would be the answer to that then. 2016 is shaping up to what will be a HUGE year for Jason and I. Not only are we getting married in June, but we have planned the honeymoon of a lifetime island hopping around Hawaii and for the first time in 6 years, we will be moving in together in our own little humble abode. It’s an understatement to say that we will be kept busy however it is ultimately a year I never want to forget and one that I do not want to wish away in a hurry.
To mark the beginning of the countdown I thought I would take a little trip back down memory lane and revisit some stills I took at one of the many beautiful weddings Jason and I have been fortunate enough to attend.
There’s aspects of every wedding day that are beautiful and although the most expected moments make our hairs stand on end or fill our eyes with forcefully held back tears, it’s looking in the opposite direction that takes my priority. I’m a sucker for a good wedding and it doesn’t take much for me to feel butterflies as I put myself in the shoes of the bride and groom therefore I’m immediately attracted to those moments which may be unseen amongst the hazy eyes.
As a note to self I will try to take in as many of these moments on my very own wedding day and steal my new husband away for a few minutes to watch over our guests. I can’t wait!
